Blaze Entertainment has announced that the Legacy of Kain Collection will be released for the retro-inspired Evercade family of systems in September.
The collection, which costs $25, includes both Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, and preorders will be available on August 30. It’s the second Giga Cart for Evercade, is a game console family avaialble in both TV and handheld versions that focuses on retro games with ROM cartridges. Also on August 30, the Evercade EXP-R handheld and VS-R home console will be available for $100.

Telltale Games has confirmed that development on The Wolf Among Us 2 is still active, addressing recent speculation about its potential cancellation. On Monday, a whistleblower had claimed on Reddit that the project was at risk of being shelved due to financial difficulties and internal pressure. While the original post has since been deleted, Telltale has now directly responded to the rumors.
“As a rule, we don’t comment on rumors and unsubstantiated Reddit threads. But development on The Wolf Among Us 2 continues, and we’re excited to share more about the game with Telltale fans and our community when the time is right,” a Telltale representative said in a statement to Eurogamer.

Game designer Peter Molyneux has returned to video games, and debuted his next project during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The new project, called Masters of Albion, goes back to Molyneux’s roots in god games, with a few new twists.
The brief gameplay demonstration showed the familiar disembodied hand floating over a small medieval-looking village. Molyneux said that you can manage loads of details in your community, right down to what they eat. You can even make them eat rats, if you’re so inclined.
