According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have opened discussions with agent Jorge Mendes over the possibility of signing Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio on a free transfer this summer. The Spain international has already received a proposal from Aston Villa, but the Premier League side are yet to receive an answer as Mendes appears to be keeping all potential pathways for his client open.
Paris Saint-Germain are discussing long term deal with Marco Asensio as talks are taking place with his agent Jorge Mendes.
Aston Villa already submitted opening proposal last week, waiting on player’s final decision.

It was last week that Asensio had turned down a proposal of a new contract from Real Madrid, seeing his status at the Santiago Bernabeu diminish under Carlo Ancelotti with the progress of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes. The 27-year-old is obviously determined to go somewhere to play regularly, and with former Barcelona ace Lionel Messi on his way out of PSG, there might just be such a role for him in his preferred position on the right attacking flank in the French capital.
