Turin-based newspaper that Juventus have decided to make a move on Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi after all.
The Bianconeri have long hesitated to trigger a €25million buy-back clause, as they were not convinced the talented forward has what it takes to succeed in Turin.
Meanwhile, Berardi was reluctant to join Juventus due to fierce competition for starting positions, but things have changed considerable of late.
The Bianconeri coach Max Allegri now believes the Italy international is ready to make the step up and he personally called the 21-year-old to persuade him to move to Turin.
The Juventus boss is of the opinion that Berardi would be a great replacement for Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, who is returning to Chelsea after a successful loan spell.
According to reports, the talented forward is ready to accept an offer from the Bianconeri and finally realise the long-awaited big club move.
